Sheet 03 / Exploded view
What happens to a file after you save it
Pull the drawing apart and a stored file is five simple layers. Each one has a single job, and together they keep your files safe, findable and recoverable.
Layer 1: Your file
A photo, a spreadsheet or a whole project folder leaves your device from the Cloudnist app.
Layer 2: Sealed for transit
The file is encrypted before it travels, so uploads and downloads stay private on the way.
Layer 3: Split into chunks
Large files are cut into small pieces, so an interrupted upload can resume instead of starting over.
Layer 4: Stored with copies
Each piece is kept with extra copies, so one failed disk does not take your file with it.
Layer 5: Versioned and indexed
Every saved change gets its own version entry, so you can step back to any earlier state.
